The Empire Cinema extension and refurbishment in Hemel Hempstead has seen the existing 1990s designed 8 screen multiplex cinema revamped to a 17 screen fully digital cinema with tiered stadia seating to all auditoria. This includes a IMAX screen 18m wide by 9.5m high and two IMPACT screens which boast Dolby ATMOS.
